Mended Hearts Club

Mended Hearts Club is a local queer band and oh my god they are such a fun duo to have around. I mean Aiden, the lead singer, even sang for us at our wedding rehearsal dinner and still to this day my family talks about how fun it was! When they reached out wanting to have some portraits done I was elated! A fun queer band? SIGN ME UP!
They showed up with so many fun props that really allowed the creative juices to flow! The hour we booked went so fast we already are planning to do another shoot, this time outdoors. Can’t wait! The vibes were immaculate, which also gave me such a fun opportunity in post to add in some grain which really gave the images a vintage film vibe that fit perfectly to the entire set aesthetic. While Aiden grew up in Utah, he has always had a strong connection to San Francisco. Judith grew up in Germany. One of their props were books about the very cities that bring joy to their hearts- such a perfect addition to their shoot. These two very talented individuals brought themselves to the shoot and the shots captured are utter perfection and very much THEM. I personally can’t wait for their next session, stay tuned! 🖤
